Turks and Caicos Islands with Van Insurance

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a British overseas territory in the West Indies.

These islands are included on the United Nations list of Non-Self Governing Territories.

The two island groups are separated by the Turks passage.

The islands have marshes and mangrove swamps and beaches, a limited freshwater supply, and main resources of Conch, lobster and other shellfish.

The Caicos Islands is the larger group and has 82% of the population. The unofficial capital is Kew on North Caicos.

The main islands are West Caicos and East Caicos these are uninhabited, Ambergris this has only had residents since 1997, Providenciales, North Caicos, Middle Caicos and South Caicos are all inhabited.

The Turk Islands consist of two main Islands Grand Turk and Salt Cay.
